A little about Zest Total Fitness...

I believe fitness, through consistent exercise, is really only one element of good health. Just as important (actually more important) is what you put IN to your body.  Good nutrition is what sustains your exercise, and gives you the energy to get you through your busy life. As well as Personal Training, I have also completed my Lifestyle Food and Wellness certificate. With an Accredited certificate in Nutrition, Weightloss, Meal and Menu Planning and level 1 & 2 Wellness Coaching, I am able to provide you with knowledge and guidance in all areas of nutrition to best support your health and fitness goals.

Amanda Cooper

Personal Trainer

Health and fitness has always been a deep passion of mine.

Wanting to share my passion with others, my background as a Fitness Intructor began 15 years ago, teaching various classes such as Les Mills Body Pump and Body Balance.  I am now a fully qualified Personal Trainer/Master Trainer through the Australian Institute of Fitness and my desire for learning continues.

Get Zest inspired

Session area

I wanted an environment where I train my clients that reflects my passion, in hope that each person would walk away from each training session feeling positive, inspired and even better than they did when they first walked in.

If you are not a fan of the 'commercial' based gym environment, and are after a more personalised type of service, then I believe this may be exactly what you are looking for!

Fitness for everyone

Many have a misconception that only the fit or experienced see a fitness trainer, but in actual case, those who have never seriously exercised before or haven't for a while are the very ones who need it most! Guidance from someone who is trained to teach you the correct techniques and alignment in a controlled environment is very important.

It is the role of a trainer to teach you the basics and set you on the path of achieving your goals.  Correct alignment during exercise is key to ensure the engagement of the intended muscles are worked and more importantly to prevent injury.

When a beginner learns the correct technique from the beginning, they are then able to focus on the reps and sets, thus achieving their fitness goals much quicker than simply going through the motions incorrectly.
